MAKU FILMS - MAtrix Powerwatch

Director Spenser Linney reached out to me about this project months before production began and basically said I want to make a action hero scene for a self charging smart watch. From a production stand point the idea was to shoot almost the entire production with the camera build on the Movi XL and Flowcine Blackarm. DP Joe Lindsey knew we needed to move fast and the versatility of the Movi XL and Blackarm made it all possible. Joe operated gimbal from Freely Mimic for most of the camera action, and I operated via joystick from inside the camera car for the rest of the coverage.  We ended up mounting the Movi XL to a doorway dolley, ladder and our Audi Q5 camera car to get the coverage.
